Refund Policy
Effective date: 22 July 2026 · Operator: PhotoFix (Elvento)
PhotoFix sells one-time unlocks for paid presets and export features through Razorpay. This policy explains when we issue full or partial refunds.
1. Eligible for a full refund
- Technical failure: PhotoFix fails to produce an export for a supported preset due to a verified bug on our side, and support cannot resolve it within 7 days of your report.
- Duplicate charge: You were charged twice for the same unlock because of a payment processing error.
- No export used: You purchased an unlock but did not successfully export any file after purchase, and you request a refund within 7 days of payment.
2. Not eligible for a refund
- Your photo or signature was rejected by a government portal after export — even if the file met our checklist. Portal rules, manual review, and notification changes are outside our control. See our Terms of Service.
- You changed your mind after successfully exporting one or more files.
- You selected the wrong preset but the tool worked as documented for that preset.
- Your device or browser blocked downloads after a successful export.
- Requests made more than 7 days after payment except where Indian consumer law requires otherwise.
3. How to request a refund
- Email support@photofix.in from the address used at checkout (or sign-in email).
- Include your Razorpay payment ID, date of purchase, preset name, and a short description of the issue.
- If reporting a bug, include browser or app version and steps to reproduce. Do not attach personal photos unless support asks for a redacted sample.
We aim to respond within 2 business days and to process approved refunds within 7 business days.
4. Refund method
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method through Razorpay (UPI, card, net banking, or wallet as applicable). Bank processing times vary — typically 5–10 business days after we initiate the refund.
5. Restore instead of repurchase
If you already paid and lost access on a new device, use Restore purchasesin the app or sign in with the same account on the website before requesting a refund. Most "missing unlock" cases are resolved by restore, not refund.
6. Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank. We will investigate promptly. Unfounded chargebacks may result in account suspension.
7. Changes
We may update this policy. The effective date at the top of this page reflects the current version. Purchases are governed by the policy in effect at the time of payment.
